Holy Spirit

"The next day, the one after Preparation Day, the chief priests and the Pharisees went to Pilate. "Sir," they said, "we remember that while he (Jesus) was still alive that deceiver said, 'After three days I will rise again.' So give the order for the tomb to be made secure until the third day. Otherwise, his disciples may come and steal the body and tell the people that he has been raised from the dead. This last deception will be worse than the first." "Take a guard," Pilate answered. "Go make the tomb as secure as you know how." So they went and made the tomb secure by putting a seal on the stone and posting the guard. (Matthew 27: 62-66)
While the women were on their way, some of the guards went into the city and reported to the chief priests everything that had happened. When the chief preists had met with the elders and devised a plan, they gave the solders a large sum of money, telling them, "You are to say, 'His disciples came during the night and stole him away while we were asleep.' If this report gets to the governor, we will satisfy him and keep you out of touble." So the soldiers took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has been widely circulated among the Jews to this very day. (Mathhew 28: 11-15)
Now Thomas, one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came (after risen from the death). So the other disciples told him, "We have seen the Lord!" But he said to them, "Unless I see the nail marks in the his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe it." A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" Then he said the Thomas, "Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe." Thomas said to him, "My Lord and my God!" Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." (John 20:24-30)
I originally would like to share the message from the Easter service today. But God suddenly give me a new insight. Actually, oh no, my mind keep going and going...... couldn't stop....
Just share a little bit about the above verses. These days I was seeking opinion about the Cleansing Stream programme I am now enrolling. It is proven to be one of the 靈恩運動 by my pastor. People in the group speaks spiritual tongues, and uphold physical healing from God. It is of course not for me, or us, or human being to judge whether their behaviour are from God or pleasing God. However, I do believe that from the moment we accept Jesus Christ as Saviour, all our sins (no matter sins from the past or in the future) are washed away and we become a new person in spirit (靈裡成為新造的人). Also, from that particular moment the Holy Spirit lives in our heart and we are filled with the Holy Spirit from then on. It is therefore unnecessary to 追求被聖靈充滿的行為. "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." (John 20:24-30)
I am glad I am blessed.
