Weekly update again
Tues or Weds (don't remember):
Interviewed at Red Cross for an Assistant Programme Executive. The interviewer said my background doesn't relate at all to the social work nature and that my expected salary is way too high.... fine...
Fri:
I still couldn't understand the "don't wanna go out " concept after multiple times of explanation. Upset at night and couldn't go to sleep, which was bad because I needa got up early and attend the written test at Baptist U the next day.
Sat:
Went to the test with a pair of panda eyes and shaking hands (lack of sleep). The language proficiency test had 3 questions: Chin and Eng 應用文each, plus translation from Chin to Eng. It was kinda easy for me... I think. After that, went to Mongkok to deliver the resume at an Overseas Studies Agent. Got interview on the same day late evening. But it turned out that we (3 of us) waited for 2 hours and the manager didn't interest in me at all. I'm glad that he didn't like me because he was a really weird guy. So weird.. so 騎尼... the other interviewee said he was 顛顛地.... haha... true. I rushed to my cell group afterwards (already late), then got stomache because I had no time for supper.
Sun:
Got up early again for sunday worship (you know, far away). But other ppl always late. And it sounds like being late is an ok thing to do, too. Too exhausted to get mad anymore.
Mon:
Got up early again ++ to write a test for an editor at Worldwide Bible Society. The test had 3 papers: 校對, 審譯, 中譯英。Took me 3.5 hours to complete all those. They were very challenging and the hardest one was 審譯. But Alex should be able to handle those with no problem I think... haha!
Tues:
Got up early again! Gotta take the DV to City U to my brother early morning. Lucky that I need to go to BU again for interview, which is almost sitting right beside City U. There were 3 interviewers and I believe one of them couldn't understand Chinese. It was carried out in Eng and Mandarin.
On the same day at around 6pm. I received a call from BU. I got verbally hired. Praise the Lord!!!!! Position: Project Assistant at the Academy of Visual Arts, Baptist University
